Oldish Australian downtempo that still stands out from 98% of the dross that gets stuck with that label nowadays, a decade after the fact. Also, a quite-nice video.
Normally, I’m a bit “blah” about YouTube Covers, but this is amazingly amazing.

All I did was get them to the same tempo, then cut back and forth between the 2 songs like crazy, occasionally blending. This started as just a short proof that the 2 songs are insanely similar (which I know has already been said, but I haven’t really heard them cut like this).I didn’t use a vocal or instrumental mix – this is just using the full songs, cutting back and forth like crazy.
Apparently, Robyn performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony in 2008.

June 28, 2010 at 1:36 pmI always did enjoy the debut from Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert of New Order; shame that there’s not a high-quality version of the “Tasty Fish” video on the web because that one’s so very early-to-mid-90s. Still, you can listen to it here.
